Shipping, returns & privacy

Shipping

• US addresses only. The hive boxes are stocked in a US warehouse; we don't ship outside the United States, and checkout won't accept a non-US address.
• Free FedEx shipping on every order. Boxes leave the warehouse within 1–2 business days and typically arrive 2–5 business days after that.
• Your tracking link is emailed the moment your order is on the move.
• Alaska, Hawaii and remote addresses may add a few days. The carrier's page shows the live estimate.

Returns & damage

• Damaged in transit: email a photo within 7 days of delivery and we replace the damaged parts, or the whole box, at no cost.
• Changed your mind: 30 days from delivery to return an unassembled kit in its original carton. Email shopwithbenita@gmail.com and we send a prepaid FedEx label.
• Once a box has been nailed together or has housed bees it can't be returned, for the obvious hygiene reasons.
• Refunds go in full to the original payment method within 5 business days of the carrier scanning your return.

Payments & security

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's PCI-DSS Level 1 certified checkout and never touch our servers. We see only what's needed to fulfil your order: name, email, shipping address, and what you bought.

Privacy

We collect the minimum needed to run the shop: your order details, which we keep for fulfilment, support and accounting. Payment data is held by Stripe, not us. We don't sell or share your information with anyone except the warehouse and carrier who deliver your order. Email us to have your data deleted; we confirm within 7 days.

Safety & what's not included

The kit is a hive body: box, frames, foundations and window. It does not include bees, a bottom board, covers, protective clothing or tools. Assembly needs a hammer and involves nails and thin acrylic; keep both away from children. Beekeeping involves stings: check local ordinances on keeping hives, and if you are allergic to bee venom, talk to a doctor before you start.
